Travel Back to 1892 at Bishop's Palace

Also known as Gresham's Castle, named after Civil War Colonel Walter Gresham for whom it was built, architects the world over agree this is one of the most astounding Victorian residences in the United States. Designed by Nicholas Clayton, dramatic geometry, eloquent carvings, abundant stained glass, and the dichotomy of a towering 3-floor home ona small lot are all token characteristics of the mansion affectionately referred to as 1892 Bishop's Palace, Galveston.
